Oscar Pistorius could be free to compete at the Olympic Stadium in the London Anniversary Games now that his ban on international travel has been lifted

Oscar Pistorius could compete in August's World Athletics Championships, despite facing trial for the murder of his girlfriend, after a High Court judge eased his bail restrictions to allow him to travel abroad, compete and drink alcohol.

Despite describing murder as “the most serious charge possible for a man”, Judge Bert Bam said the bail conditions imposed on the athlete by Magistrate Desmond Nair were “unfair” and “misdirected”.

A video apparently showing a young lady being violated by a man in the presence of at least two others who ignored her plea for mercy and continued to trample on her dignity without remorse has been on circulation.

The suspect in the video clip spoke in Yoruba, is light skinned and approximately 5feet 8inches tall.

A Vicar has said the “body is a beautiful thing but there is a time and place for it” after a prostitute posted photos of herself naked in church, but called the stunt "shameless" and "sacrilegious".

The prostitute, known only as Gemma, posted the photos of her inside St Bartholomew's Church in the village of Goodnestone, Kent, on a website.

Kidnapped NTA reporter regains freedom

Olubunmi Oke, a female journalist working with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Akure, has been released by her kidnappers.

Mrs. Oke , a nursing mother, was kidnapped on Thursday by four gunmen after closing from work at Oba Ile area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

She was said to have been whisked away shortly after she drove into her residence after closing from work.
Although, the abductors demanded ransom, I really don't know if the ransom was paid or not before she was released.

According to a friend in Kano “I thought as much cos its close to my area and sounded as if the bomb is just next door. Let’s all be careful and be sure of any detail outside this before broadcasting."

Chain of explosions around mega station area, Hotoro, kano and persistent gunshots all over the place. Number of casualties are not yet ascertained.

60 killed, Dozens Injured In Luxurious Bus Explosion In Kano

Oh my gosh! Not again. Just heard this on CNN just now and couldn't believe it.

According to Channels, over 60 passengers were killed while dozens got injured following an explosion that hit an inter-state luxurious car park in Kano State North West Nigeria.

A member of Igbo traditional council in Kano, Tobias Idika confirmed the explosion to Channels Television shortly after the blast.

According to Mr Idika "IED was kept inside the luxurious bus which was about to leave Kano to Lagos, people were frying like chicken here and you know there are over two hundred people in this bus when the two IEDs"

Another eyewitness told Channels Television that Dozens of people were injured but could not count the number of dead persons.

At the moment, no one can confirm the status of casualties in this attack as effort to contact the police or JTF was not successful as at the time of compiling this report, however residents say the area was combed by JTF.
