Andy Griffith "Matlock" died at 86

My friend who shares my love for Matlock just called me and told me about his passing away. I felt so sad, like I expected him to live forever, then I remembered that Matlock has always been old.

He was old in the early 90s when we watched and loved him, but he was so intelligent, so smart and collected. He made criminal law appear absolutely interesting and made us all feel like we can solve any criminal case. We just thought he'll be there forever.

Ironically, I can't remember him in any other movie or tv show and until today, I didn't even know his name was....Andy Griffith. He died today at the age of 86. May his soul rest in peace, he shall be missed.

Reading her wall on face book just made me really feel sad for her....and to imagine that everyone just assumed that she quite the marriage with some saying they're quite sure Chris Okotie is impotent and she couldn't cope. This is just another lesson taught to us that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

My heart goes out to her and pray that she truly finds happiness if all she's said is true.

I couldn't believe this story when I read it. I mean, how could people be so heartless as to kidnap girls, ensure they get pregnant and sell off the babies immediately they put to bed! Who even buys the babies and how much are they paid for them? This is worse than wicked.

It was on National news on Radio this morning that new date for the repairs of 3rd mainland bridge is to be announced soon.
Federal Comptroller of Works in Lagos, Mr. Ejike Mgbemena and Lagos State government will be meeting on Thursday on the project before a world press conference on Friday and subsequently, the Minster of works will brief us on the details.

Could this be true? Teacher caught having sex with a student in class

I find things like this so disgusting that I'll rather not believe them no matter what evidence I have in front of me. Someone called my attention to it this morning and sent me the URL of the site he found it. I was reluctant to have it here at first but after much consideration, thought it will be better for us to face the reality (if that's what it is) and be informed on the terrible things that happen out there. Maybe, it will in some way help us to bring up our children to be better people.

Lawan bribery video to be shown on national TV + snippets of the N96m telephone conversation

THE messy bribery scandal involving a member of  the House of Representatives, Farouk Lawan, and owner of Zenon Oil and Gas Limited, Femi Otedola, took an interesting twist on Monday.

First, The PUNCH learnt early yesterday that the bribery video might be aired on national television anytime soon. Our correspodents gathered that six video tapes and 16 audio tapes were likely to be made available to major television networks in the coming days. However, our correspondents could not confirm if the tapes were to be released by the State Security Service or one of the parties to the dispute.
