Six members of the Dakinban family, have all being killed by unknown gunmen in an early morning attack in Tibiu village of Kumbum ward in Mangu local government area of Plateau State, north central Nigeria.

Brent Crawford nearly got killed by the fish when they were struggling after he carefully caught it with his fishing bow. The fish pulled him into the river but his Dear Sweet Dog kept tugging at his jeans and tried to pull him out till he was safe enough to call a friend. There was a lot of mud splashes.

His friend came in and shot the fish with his piston before hooking it up and taking this incredible picture.

Amb. Olusola, Village Headmaster Creator, Dies At 77

Ambassador Olusegun Olusola is dead, The creator of the popular television drama series, The Village Headmaster  died yesterday evening in Lagos after a brief illness, according to his aide, Wole Adediran. He was 77 years.

"I can confirm to you that Baba died at about 6.30pm this evening," Adediran said last night.

Late Olusola was born in Iperu-Remo, Ogun State in March 18, 1935

He was chairman of several government agencies, and was in 1987 appointed Nigerian ambassador to Ethiopia and the Organisation of Africa Unity (OAU).
