Miss USA Vs Miss Nigeria Who is Hotter?

Our own Damiete Granville, 23, won the crown as First runner-up of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. She is  from Calabari in Rivers state and also represented her state in the pageant. She is a final year Mas Communications Student in the University of Benin. She loves dancing, hanging out with friends and reading.
She shall be representing Nigeria in the Miss Universe Pageant

While 20-year-old Olivia Culpo, Miss Rhode Island, won the  Miss USA pageant for 2012 on Sunday.
She is a student at Boston University. She loves music and has played the cello for 13 years and was an avid band camper. She answered the questions posed to her excellently and won the pageant that was keenly contested for.
She shall be representing United States in the Miss Universe pageant.

What is your take on both ladies?

I think Miss Universe Nigeria is hotter than Miss USA and stands a better chance to win the coveted crown!.

Adekunbi, taken away in the Dana flight in the prime of her life.

After her 1st degree and masters abroad, Adekunbi returned to nigeria as expected of every graduate to serve her fatherland as a corp member.

She was posted to Etisalat Nigeria and was in the Budget and Planning Department. She was very efficient for such a young lady. She always had an intelligent look on her face, went about her duties quietly and never failed to extend a smile to everyone that cared to say hi to her.

She left Lagos to visit a relation in Abuja and was on board the ill fated Dana airplane that crashed in Lagos on it's way from Abuja on Sunday, 3rd June, 2012.

She will be greatly missed by family, colleagues and friends and her smiles will be a constant reminder of a gentle heart.

Rest in peace Kunbi, you'll be on our minds for a long long time.

Pilot in Dana Air crash that killed 163 was an American + Pictures of Crash

I was reading through CNN's account this morning and it's so sad that so many nationalities were involved in this tragic event.

Lagos Airport Shut down.

Lagos airport was shut down yesterday and passengers awaiting later flights were told to go home.

Meanwhile, about an hour after Dana Air plane crashed, only two fire engines and about 50 rescue personnel were at the scene of the accident while a military helicopter flew overhead.

Seriously, our slow response in times of crises in Nigeria has caused us a lot of pain.

May their souls rest in peace.
