What's Twitter got to do with it?
Tina Turner is the latest celeb to fall victim to the Twitterverse death hoax.
On Saturday, Twitter was abuzz with tweets that the 72-year-old songstress had passed away, with the rumor supposedly steaming from an "anticipated" obituary. However, the singer's rep denied the rumor and confirmed the "What's Love Got To Do With It" singer is still alive and well!
CNN's Deborah Feyerick also confirmed the iconic singer's status as being still among the living, tweeting: "She wasn't dead on Sunday, she wasn't dead on Thursday, she's not dead today. Someday this will be true, but not this week."
Tina's erroneous death report joins the long list of false alarms for stars such as Justin Bieber, Usher, Patrick Dempsey and Chris Brown.
